Alfred and Helen's children were Henry Alfred (1876-1876) buried at Rookwood cemetery in Sydney; Edith Maud (1877-1951); Emily (1879-1969); John Alfred (1881- ); Alfred (aka Tom) (1884-1959); Helen (1885-1945); Ethel (1887-1955) and William Benjamin (1890-1929).
Alfred junior, who was also known as Tom, was born on 17 May 1884 at Vulture Street in Brisbane. He married Ellen Mary RAYMENT in Rockhampton on 7 Jun 1911. Ellen was born on 17 Dec 1885 at Arrilalah (near Longreach in outback Queensland). It is said that she was the first white child born on the Thompson River. Ellen's parents were Charles Ebenezer RAYMENT and Julia Ann SMITH. Alfred, like his father and grandfather, was also a butcher; and he died on 12 Nov 1959. Ellen died on 28 Jun 1950 and they are buried together also in Toowong cemetery.
Edith Maud was born in New South Wales in 1877 and married William Henry WHITE III. Their children were Irene, James, Sonny and Violet Mignon (1908-1945).
Emily was born on 11 Jun 1879 and died on 24 Feb 1969. She married Norman Ralph TOOTH in Brisbane on 9 Apr 1902. Norman was born on 7 Mar 1877 and died on 3 Dec 1937. Norman and Emily had 4 sons and 2 daughters. They were both cremated at Mt Thompson in Brisbane.
John Alfred (aka Jack) was born on 10 Jul 1881 and married Sarah STIMPSON. They had three daughters, Ruby, Dolly and Nellie.
Helen (Nellie) was born 21 Jun 1885 and married Frederick DAVIS in 1909 and had a son Owen Cook DAVIS.
Ethel was born on 11 Aug 1887 and married Ernest BERRY. Their children were Alfred, Mary, Ethel and Thelma.
William Benjamin was born in 1890 and died on 14 Feb 1929. He married Delilah Jean STANLEY and both William and Jean are buried in the same plot at Toowong cemetery as William's parents. William was one of the first, if not the first, cancer patients treated in Queensland with radium. William and Jean's children were Stanley, Eva and Jean.
